Anyone know what brand of High flow CAT I can use with my APS exhaust. I've read APS exhaust is a pain in the *** when you're mix and match such as buying a high flow cat. The exhaust comes with a test pipe. Since I'm moving back to Texas in July, I'm require to have a cat when I get my car inspected. I'm just trying to find a alternative instead of paying $350 for a APS High flow cat.

Any suggestion would be great, thanks!

 

I think the Perrin HFC should work. Its also reasonably priced. It fit on my HKS set up perfect. I am pretty sure the flanges should be the same on your exhaust. Good luck though.

 

I've heard good stuff about the Perrin HFC. Any HFC could still trigger a CEL, so a spacer may be required. But with the cat, you should pass visual. Anyone chime in on this?

 

I've had my Perrin HFC in for about 1000 miles now and still no CEL. And this is with a 3" HKS downpipe leading up to it, plus the cat-back.
