this might sound like crazy talk

ok it probably is craazy talk but. . .. .. . . . i have been searching on the forum to see if anyone has doen it but . is it possible to swap complete interiors of the evo 8or9 with a X ??? or even the whole dash??? just wondering ?

ya i guess u would prob have to mod it alot the body's are totally different haha i think it would be a waste but if u wanted to try it go for it let us know how it turns out

i agree ieither i woudl have to find a wrecked evo X or get partts from factory i know this wouldnt be a cheap endeavor but hey it could turn out good i dont even know if the dash would fit width wise ill have to look into it more

I think anything is possible if you put your mind and effort into it. You might be able to pass along some interior parts but if your thinking about doing the full interior transplant, it might be more complex than you care to put your money into. This thread makes me think of the time when I saw a RSX dash in an Eg Civic.

I don't get it. It'd be a ton of work, but I've seen R33 GTR body panels stuck on a 240sx and it actually looked good. After that, I became a believer anything could be custom fit with enough time and money.

What I would do is suede is whole dash and some accents. Hot and functional.

well i know honda guys and vdub guy do it alot but evos havent had much different in the dash so now that there is i think i might try it. going to talk to my friend tomorrow and go from there

Seems like a waste to me. If you are going to go through all of the trouble of making a custom interior, why not use some higher quality materials?
