It has been a while since I've driven my Evo (I'm in England currently), but isn't the break-in period 2500 miles? I'm fairly certain of that.

2600 miles on it ... It's already broken in. You can flush the oil if you want to (not going to hurt) and start running her normal.

the car has been broken in for a while now, did you pick up the car with that many miles on it? the break in is 600miles but everyone says 1000miles, if the oil has not been changed you need to do that asap! how much you pay for your new/demo MR had to be over 30k anyways good luck with your low miles evo maybe ill see you around cause i live in v.s. also what color you got?

just picked it up. it wasnt a demo. bought off a car fanatic and he never drove it. He always coverd it and always kep it clean. Got it for 28500 06 mr with 2500 miles. There is literally one scratch on the car and it is mint. Just hope i can keep it that way.

I would do all, I bought my IX new and after the break in I did all OEM fluids. Oil, tranny, TC and rear diff. When I hit 6K I changed the TC again and swapped tranny fluid out for Redline MT-90, what a difference I do all my driveline fluids every 6K. The tranny was horrible after 3K and had metal everywhere, after the Redline it was reduced drastically. Hope this helps you.

I do agree with everyone telling you that you will be fine but me and several other members take pride in keeping our machines in top mechanical condition and fluids are a great start. Considering some of the most expensive repairs are the Evo's driveline, I make sure it's taken care of ahead of schedule. It's not called preventative maintenance for nothing. If the regularly scheduled intervals are good enough for you then thats fine.
