-Rant-

Nothin but an excuse for polaks to try and floss their ****, so typical. I hate my people.

-end of rant-

PS: I'm pretty sure if something like this was organized here, it would be damned near impossible to run such an event due to the overwhelming amount of people/cars attending. Plus, the streets in the chi are some of the worst in the country, lots of damaged/wrecked cars I'd forsee.

You might be right but I am getting 0-1 counts of knock as it is. I have been working a custom bracket that bolts up underneath the air duct I just haven't screwed into it yet, when my wheels and suspension get here and it goes on the lift I'll take care of it. At the moment it's the most convient thing I could do

For starters, I don't see anything wrong with what's being done. Organized street racing on closed streets ... what's not to like? Yeah, it's not exactly the safest venue, but then again a little danger adds to the spice in life, no? Just like I like to ride my motorcycle without a helmet ... I call it fun ... others call it stupid ... I really don't care.

To clear up some misconceptions in this thread, though:

The Autobahn (i.e. no speed limit in some areas) only exists in Germany. Poland has nothing like this, so I'm not sure how this is relevant to legalized street racing in Poland.

Again, in Germany they do get more training. I'd be willing to bet that in most other European countries, driver education is nowhere near what it is in Germany.

This assumes that the legal system in Poland is as messed up as it is here in the U.S. Again, I'd be willing to wager that the city in Poland has far less liability than a comparable U.S. municipality would.
