Thumbs down Cowardice slashed my Evo

So on Friday, I go to the gym in Ardmore PA. Not more than a few blocks away is a upscale shopping center. There are many cars in the lot twice the value of mine, few below it. I parked in the middle row, on the corner furthest from all the other cars. I am a fanatic about my paint. I polish, clay bar, wax, and try to take all measures at my disposal to keep my paint in good condition. I wasn't obnoxiously far out of the way, I was just by myself, no neighboring cars. I don't have after market body panels, blackout tint, flashy rims. On the outside, my car is bone stock. I just waxed it the previous Sunday, so it was still nice and clean.

I exit the gym, and walk to my car, before I am 20' away I see a line, that was too harsh to be a reflection. It didn't take me more than a few seconds to tell I had been keyed. Some cowardly worm keyed my drivers door, passenger door, rear fender, and gas lid. I walked around the parking lot and to the backs of the shops, outraged, hoping to find a guilty face. I would've done anything to get my chance at this person who defiled my car. Luckily for them, I didn't find them.

So the moral of the story is, it doesn't matter how nice or wealthy the area is, or how many measures you take to take the best care of your beloved ride. There will always be those cowards, pathetic and envious, who will deface your property.

The pictures of the damage are attached. Camera phone, sorry they are so bad.

Sorry to see that man. It breaks my heart looking at those pics so I can't imagine how you would feel. Whoever did that is going to have some bad *** karma to deal with.

Man that sucks, I'm always worried about something like that happening.

I'd like to know what compels people to do stupid stuff like that - just ridiculous. No respect.

vincent vega said it best when it would almost be worth it to catch them in the act. my old man taught me from a very young age to respect other people's cars.

unfortunately my evo sees DD duty so I can't be toooooo picky about the body.

My fully built 2g on the other hand... stopped at the bar for 10 min to say hi to a friend on his birthday for the 4th of July and then went to leave to go to his place... just pulled up like normal nothing out of the ordinary... and apparently the two characters walking out of the bar when I pulled in thought it would be a great idea to throw a large rock shattering my windshield and damaging my hood. BTW, DSM windshields > $600. People who wreck other people's property, reasons (or especially) none are lowlife scum.

Just remember that karma is real and they will DIAF, use this as a reminder to yourself as well. Everybody gets what is coming to them sooner or later

This is just disapointing. People cant own something without a moron ruining it. If I caught someone doing something like that to my car, I would lose it. Not that I am hard headed, but thats just something you dont do. I would never touch someone elses car, and I expect the same.
