Question Washing Car Cover?

I just had a quick question did a search with no luck and cant find the damn tag on the cover itself. I have the OEM car cover and its pretty grimy and needs to be washed. Whats the best way to wash and dry? Dont want to mess this thing up.

What is it made out of?

I have an OEM car cover for my S2000. The Honda ones are a cotton/poly blend. I put it in the washing machine with cold water and let it air-dry outside to avoid shrinkage.

I have no idea if that's safe to do with the Mitsu ones... Didn't it come with some care instructions?
