Dc Sport Dp Cause Cel?

As is ... with a stock car. When you put the DC sport DP on will it throw a CEL? Or is the second 02 reading leveled high like an 02 fouler?

If you remove your catalytic converter it will, i don't think a downpipe alone will do it.

Really? OP, what other exhaust components do you have? Perhaps I'm not seeing how a D/P alone could cause a CEL without touching the cat, but I did have a stock cat go out on me too.

Well you'll have to make/buy non-foulers anyway if you want to go test pipe. Go ahead and get them.

A good tuner can also fix the cel problem.

True. They can delete the whole need for that 2nd O2 sensor.

you'll throw a code because in installing the dc downpipe you are removing the cat as well.

no cat = code, every time.

i have this downpipe along with the greddy ti-c and mechanical o2 fix. no CEL.

I have this DP with a Greddy Ti-C as well. Patched to Tephra V5 and did a rear o2 delete.

I have the DC DP along with the Greddy Ti-C. Originally had 2 non-foulers stacked with the o2 sensor but it was rattling underneath the car. Removed one of the non-foulers and NO CEL and NO rattle!

i have the 2 non foulers stacked on the bung of my ti-c and hammered the floorboard a little bit to clear some more space... no issues. it was way too tight to plug in at the dc downpipe's bung.

it's a louder than i thought it would be and loud as hell at WOT.
