Why would I use a MBC when i already have the Electronic Greddy Boost Controller? It may have been cheaper but I want the ability to moniter and change things on the fly.

From what I understand, the Pump is not needed with the current boost levels. The stock pump will still handle my current power levels and fuel demands. Once I get some Cams, then I will need to upgrade the Pump and Injectors. Also, the pump doesn't really add power. It only supplies the needed fuel.

As for the pricing, it was about 3,000 for everything (parts, installation, tune). Well worth the money I'd say.

I do OCASSIONALLY launch my car from a stand still, but it's usually by building boost around 5000-5300 rpm's and slipping the clutch a bit so as not to ruin my drivetrain or my still strong clutch. With the new tune I now have the 2-step at 5800 rpm's but I don't have the heart to drop it hard. Maybe when I drag it...
