I hear you on this one. IL roads have got to be the worst. We've had a harsh winter and the salk and ploughs have taken there toll on the poorly made roads. Good luck with your claim..... I think you'll need it.

Yes, to be honest id be very surprised if the state paid anything out.
I had a professor at my old college get hit in the face by a reflector when a semi shot it through her windshield. State refused to pay for it...said they couldn't prove that it came off the road at that particular spot. (this is following litigation)

It doesn't help that Chicago's traffic is one of the worst in the US

You MO people seem to drive 20+ all the time up here. Anytime I pass a car with MO plates, I look down to see if I'm speeding or in an alternate universe.

k so for anyone who cares...or is just that bored...finally got my car back after being in the shop for a week. turns out i needed more than an alignment. so after a new knuckle, lower control arm, and abs sensor...add that to the new rim n tire i had to buy, and the withdrawl of no evo for a week...and here we are 1600 dollars later, all bc im a dumbass and wasnt looking at the road

i did get a form from idot to file my claim, so thats going in the mail tomarrow. only downfall is it says right on there it will take them approx 180 days to process my claim. haha...they have a sense of humor. but hey, ill take my 1600 back in 6 months than not at all.
