BOV and diverter are used interchangably. Evo's have a diverter valve also since it is recirculated back into the intake. That should be the determining factor between a BOV and diverter valve.
What I am saying is that they are the same thing... only one recirculates back to the intake. A BOV and diverter valve serve the same purpose, and every turbo car uses one or the other. They might even call it something completely different.
True, but some people consider them totally different, the less informed people. They are the same thing, but one vents to the atmosphere and one recirculates.
