What to do...? Make the car look like it has no antenna....

I took out my radio, and the antenna..

I think it looks kind of dumb...

Any options? I was thinking I could bondo over it and make it look like a big shark fin, but I'm not sure.

Anybody else done anything like this?

I'm thinkin of doing the same. My antenna seems to have broken off, bought the car like this.

Its definitley an eye sore. I may just fill it and use touch up paint on it.

Even though an antenna wouldn't be functional, I would put a short one on. It would look funny trying to cover up the hole and paint everything IMHO.

Just get a shorty antenna.

If you filled it up with Bondo and painted it..... it would just look to Ghetto.

"Ghetto Evo"

Hrm...... has a ring to it, doesn't it? *shrug*

If only these was a screw-on cap... Then the hole would be covered and you could put an antenna back on if you ever put a radio back in.

Anyone seen anything like that? Cheap product idea?

I cant put anything on mine cause its all messed up inside. I need to remove my headliner in order to take the antenna mount off and either replace it or fill it.

Im gonna go the cheap route and just fill it. I doubt it'll look TOO bad... we'll see.

Why not gut the stock antenna? Break off the top except the screw and some black, there you go!

same for me. someone either vandalized my car or tried to steal the shorty antenna not knowing it just screws off and broke a chunk off of my vortex generator and the antenna base...

if there was a writeup of replacing it i would try it but the phrase "remove the headliner" gives me a headache.

for the time being i'm holding it there with electrical tape... lol... ghetto yes but you can barely tell since my car is black...

It shouldn't be too hard. There's 3 clips in the rear that you can remove, then maybe take the screws out of the oh **** handles. I'm thinking just buy doing that you should have enough space to work a wrench in there.
