Seems Fishy To Me...

So I keep getting these things in the mail ranting and raving about how its my last chance to get an extended warranty on my car. This is the second one I've gotten in like a week. The little post card type advertisement says "just call this number with you mileage and vin number." Does anyone else get these in the mail? They don't even really say what company it is on the card. Just gives you a 1-800 number to call. I shredded both of them, but that just seems really odd to me...

SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I HAD TO DO IT.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE BULL**** ! ! !

I know somone personally who used to do that business and it is BS, you have a factory warranty for a reason ( and it will protect you unless you are modded and drive in with the mods on) and this one if you bought it is harder to enforce than that one if you got it

Total garbage. They know you bought a car a few years ago (thanks to your dealer). Based on a standard mileage/year accumulation, they think your factory warranty may be coming to an end and they want to sell you something that they know won't cover 75% of the problems you may have. Besides, if it was legit, they would know your vin number.

I get these in the mail all the time, it's funny because I have 100k warranty and I have 16k miles on my car. My warranty is about to expire my ***.

Yeah they got my phone numbers, and they call about 10x a week.

I just mess with them now and try to waste as much of their time as possible. It usually ends with the "specialist" getting mad and hanging up on me after they shout something. Don't worry though, it's an automated system and they don't even know what phone number they called.....

Well you guys are all saying that its B.S but have any of you personally tried any of these companies?? before saying that its B.S i hope all of you have for you to be saying these comments. Because i have extended warranty with one of those companies that when your factory warranty ends you get ''EXTENDED WARRANTY'' with a company that is not my dealer... and matter fact the cover a lot more that the ****ty mitsubishi warranty, i've had my wheel bearings, slave and master cylinder, fron axle, changed as of now all by this warranty where i can go to any ASE certified mechanic and they will pay for it 100% with no deductible, but i've gone to mitsubishi everytime for those repairs with no questions asked, but as i mentioned i can go ANYWHERE. So my point is maybe no ALL of them is B.S. maybe some but as of my experience I love it and as a matter of fact i've called before and asked what happens if my tranny or motor goes out they simply said no worries sir you are 100% covered, and every repair that i had i didnt have to take off any of my mods to go they just dont care....
