Question about exhaust need advice.

ok so when i bought my Mr it had a hks exhaust on it, i believe its a cat- back i no its the TI- Carbon one but im not really sure. also the tip had a slight dent keep this in mind.

so my question is who thinks i should just switch to a full megan turbo back exhaust

or should i just add megan parts to the Hks TI exhaust i have to make it a turbo back basically.

i also want to no if its still possible to keep my cat.

also what parts would i need beisdes a down pipe and test pipe.

also i plan on installing an egt guage soon is there a better one to pick for welding the new bung in

sorry if this topic is a little noobish im just trying learn my car better.

well if you want to keep your cat then forget the test pipe, go find yourself a high flow cat.

The best bang for your buck is. A Buschur down pipe to a JUNB.L cat-back w/test pipe. Sound sic as hell. With cams even better.

A test pipe eliminates the cat. Getting a larger-than-stock down pipe and keeping the stock cat would be a waste of money. Get a high-flow cat regardless of what else you do. I recommend getting an AMS turbo-back exhaust with a high-flow cat.

You don't weld a bung in for the EGT.

The cat is bolted to the down pipe, directly behind the down pipe.

There's nothing wrong with the stock exhaust manifold. In fact, it's probably the best for a stock turbo. Don't waste your money.
