So i've been wondering about this for a while and finally got around to posting but when i bought my ix mr from a dude, he included the original brochure for the evo ix. It was some fun reading material but when i flipped to colors, it listed all the colors and under electric blue it said (gsr, mr)

am i mistaken or did they actually make an electric blue ix mr?

 

They only made one Electric Blue 9 MR, and I have it.

I checked my brochure and it said the same thing. It also doesn't mention the SE model.

 

It doesn't mention the SE model because Mitsubishi decided to add the SE model after the brochure had been printed. Also, mistakes in brochures are commonplace. One aspect of my job is making sure vehicle content is correct in printed brochures for a specific manufacturer, and it is next to impossible to not have some small oversight. Also, manufacturers make many changes at the last minute so a blue MR may have been confirmed from Mitsu Japan only to be pulled at the last minute--after the printed brochure was already complete.
