I wouldnt trust any gauge past where it is designed to read. And also it is not in Bar.

i'm boosting 26.4 lbs and the needle stops a little under halfway between 1.5 bars and 76 on the vacumn side, so i think it's pretty accurate

It's quite accurate for me ... I trust it to around 1.7 or so ... no marks but it's still really close. I've compared it to the JDM MAP sensor.

that is correct, the guage doesn't read in bar. Its kg/cm^2 i believe. Whatever bar value you calculate turns out to be slightly less when you do kg/cm^2

What??? I thought it was in bars also....so whats the psi equivalent of 1kg/cm^2??

Cause my ix only spikes to 1.15 on the gauge. No boost leaks either, already took it to a shop.

The difference is minuscule. Mine is also very accurate, within .5psi. and a half a pound ain't s**t.
Besides, I just use mine for a reference.

Is it possible that mine is off due to kinks in the vacuum line?

The shop I took it to put their own gauge on, ran the hose up the hood an through the window then drove around.

They told me it was spiking at 1.3-1.4 bars and tapering to 1.2. Is that average? Would my altitude affect boost, 4,500 ft?
