get tints if you complain about the leather being hot are you guys telling my if you ever decide to get a luxury car like BMW, BENZ, AUDI, etc you will ask to get cloth seats only?

For compromise, get the IX SE seats. Suede in the middle and leather on the side bolster.

You don't need the SE seats for that, all IXs have them (obviously excluding the SSL package). It's just the red stitching that is unique to the SE's upholstery.

That's one of the things that sold me about the SE. Those red-stitched seats put a smile on my face every day.

Yeah My Ideal seats are the IX SE but since I bought an VIII Leather was my choice.

SSL seats FTW! i hate how everything else in the car is covered in that fabric...the door...and middle cubby...with the SSL package its cleaner looking...

I've never rode in an SE so I can't compare with them, but the SSL interior is the best. I test drove a few Evo's before buying the SSL package, and I just like it so much better.

Se seats are just like gsr seats my buddy has them just red stitched ooo ahhh .. not, i only bought my ssl packaged evo because it was the only brand new rr 5 spd. in the bottom 6 states when i was buying one.

I like the SSL seats although my answer is biased because I haven't sat in the IX seats just the VIII gsr's fabric, which were alright but not as good as leather. I haven't had any problems with slipping in the leather because the Recaro seats just hug my body. As far as sticking to them when they are hot; I agree with what others have said and I don't see how you could stick to them unless you weren't wearing any clothes.

If I had a blue evo Id take the gsr seats over ssl.Only way my would sit in them there blues.
