Also since i am from nj. my bro has a heavily modded WRX got alot of parts from NINO. i see he has a banner up on here. Good quality guy. based in NJ. i cant wait to get the car. i am goin with the red. as soon as i get it i am swappin out those altezzas , ill sell them to some rice boy lol.the car handles so sick. Although living in NJ u need a car with good brakes , cause its just stop and go. 0-60 whocares u aint goin anywhere LOL.
Just wait till u get that restrictive exhaust off there! You are driving it while it's being choked off right now. Don't me wrong .... worry bout' getting the car 1st of course, but replacing the stock cat and catback will give you an additional 1-2 # of boost & really help up-top where boost tapers off and power is lost a bit .... AND THAT IS ONLY THE BEGINNING of evo potential! I prefer a test pipe in place of the stock cat but not sure if you can easily get away with it in Jersey. High flow cat will do if now though ...

At any rate, pre-congrats on your upcoming purchase .... I agree that every car has its drawbacks, but man I have to say that the evo is top notch in this category ... meaning little or NO adverse issues whatsoever, as long as u end up with a good one (or should I say 'normal' one).
