To the "Dark side" I came
Hello everyone
just wanted to share my little story, I traded my car (04 STi 396whp/380 wtq) in last year and bought my wife a new car, and took over her Grand Cherokee. After almost a year of no frills, geriatric driving, the time has come to bring the SUV back "thank God it is a lease". The quest had started back in January for the next car, aloted budget 25K, it came down to 75% G35 05- 06 and 25% EVO IX as long as I could find a low mile, mint condition and not abused one.
Of course subaru was a choice but since the nearest dealer Palm Bay Subaru through me out the door with the STi saying they would not cover my blown strut cause the car was prepared for competition, and Mastro beeing 2 1/2 hours away, subaru was not an option.
....so I found an Evo IX RS, white 10k miles, in pristine condition. Car is bone stock except for swift springs and an Alpine deck. Asking price was $29795, we settled for 26K, a bit on the high side but the car deserves it. Had it checked out by the nearest Mitsu dealer compression tested, factory spec 145 psi mine came in at 150 all 4 cylinders. Deal was done, picked it up last thursday.
Man it feels so good to drive again!!!!!!!!!!
