Whatever you do, make sure you get a 4WheelSlide tune with the mods!

Good luck!

Well of course, we're all ex-WRC champs, didn't you know that? The last month I've spent more than 1000$ on just improving the driver including a club track day, upcoming racing school, a helmet, driving shoes and a CG lock.

34 Pounds tapering to 23ish Afr is solid 12.5 across the board.

Cheers!

A few bolt ons and some spray will get you to 400hp fairly easily.

~$5000

That is the best way to reach 400-450 WHP without race gas IMHO. After basic bolt-ons (300-340 WHP), things start getting expensive.

My car right now is a blast, and I couldn't honestly see how practicable it would be having it be much faster. Now, I may make this a track only car, but this is plenty of power for DD. I've driven cars much faster than my own as well.

Thats buying the most expensive stuff... You dont need the turbo, cams, valve spring, licp or injectors.

The rest is good...

Cheers!

You dont need 400 horsepower unless you know how to handle it.

Right, but if you can't handle 400hp, you shouldn't even be driving an Evolution...

Mmm, true. But 400 whp makes it that much worse. I encourage him to check out this thread:

For real? Seems like most would do the head studs.. I just don't want to take the head off if I don't have to (and I'm not doing the 1 x 1 method). I'm thinking about running 94 octane + meth but didn't know if I'd need head studs or not hmmm.
