Hey guys i just got a boost gauge from prosport i taped into the dimmer to light it up red, but when its day time i cant read it too good, when lid white its much easier to read during the day but i dont know how to make it light up red during the nigh and white during the day someone told me to tap into my clock harness so when i turn on the car it light up white and when i turn on my lights it will light up red but iam not sure.
READ THE DIRECTIONS IT SAYS IN THere...
tap into the clock or the lights or ashtray or cigarete lighter...
use the orange as normal.. they just hook the white up to the clock/cig lighter.. then your all set

sometimes whe i click my lights on the gauge stays white, other times its orange.....
anyway, i have mine wired to the cigarette lighter ring
i think prosport gauges are junk, not to mention my boost gauge is off 4 psi....

well ive never had any problem with my gauges..
its seems there only complaining about the boost gauge which could be result in alot of things.... especially if its a mechanical not electronic...

my gauge is electronic one....
i know mine is not accurate since i got tuned on 23psi and it barely reads 19. i even had the shop check it out for me. they told me its off. also it reads 29 in. of vac at idle..... thats way off. ive had nothing but problems with mine. i will trash it as soon as my new one gets here

I have an elecronic boost gauge and its not bad for the money. Had a lot of problems getting it to light up correctly and change color with the headlight switch. Then when it changed color it wouldn't go back when I turned the lights off. Then it was doing this odd flickering back and forth between orange and white... even when I removed the white wire all together...
I have it setup to just be orange all the time now and I like it that way. its accurate and works for what I need it for. However I will probably be tossing it when I get my wbo2 in a few weeks for something else.
