where to get a reducer...

hey guys i have ordered the dejon intake tube. from what i understand you need a reducer to run this on the stock turbo. could anyone tell me the size of the turbo inlet on the stocker? and does anyone know where i can get the reducer? thanks

i would call a parts place that deals specifically with evos and dsm's. i know its not around you, but its a local store for me and they have helped me a good amount. they also have a online store www.extremepsi.com They should be able to give you an exact answer

ok. guys at extreme psi said that it might be 2.5" but they are not 100% sure though.

It is 2 inch inlet. That is what a local shop told me. I researched it and someone measured and took a picture and it said 2in.

okay not my next question would be does anybody know where i can get a coupler that will fit the stock turbo and fit this intake pipe? i know they have to make them.

measure your dejon intake then look up extremepsi for sizes.

okay, i just hear back from them

they said the closest they have is a 2.25 to 4in.
is the close enough to work with the stock inlet?

Why did you buy their 4" hard pipe? They make a 3" hard pipe. It would definitely be easier to find a 3" to 2" reducer, not to mention it would probably flow better since you're not trying to cram 4" of air into a 2" opening.

The stock turbo inlet is 2.5 inches.
The Dejon pipe is three inches.
A 3.0 to 2.5 reducer will work but it will rub on the lower radiator hose. I have one, but don't run it because of the rubbing.

You might be able to use the pipe reducer from Home Depot like people use when they do a boost leak test from the front of the turbo instead of the pipe on the bottom
