you are right, the stock inlet is 2.5, just had extremepsi clear that up for me also
the dejon intake i have is 4in.
im pretty sure they made a 3in and a 4in...

the only reason i have the 4in one is because i got a really good deal on it and at the time i didnt know they had a 3 and a 4in pipe

 

do you think i will be able to get the 2.25 one over the inlet? they dont make a 4"-2.50", so it looks like thats the closest thing for me. unless anyone else knows some place else to look

Sorry, didn't realize you had the 4 inch intake.
2.25 silicone will probably not stretch to 2.5. The most I've ever gotten silicone to stretch is 1/8 over, and that took softening in hot water, lube, and elbow grease.

 

hmmm. would a 3"-4" work? just tighten the clamp?
