Oil gets too hot, even with oil cooler

My evo's oil reaches 150 C on HPDEs and I have already installed aftermarket HKS oil cooler...

What other things can I do with the car so that the oil does not get that hot?

Check out the how-to forum, I know someone did a write up on adding a cheap oil cooler fan that seemed to work really well.

I'm not sure what kind of reviews Royal Purple has gotten here, but I would suggest that. I ran that in my RSX and there was such a dramatic difference in overall operating temp, that I had to switch to mobile1 in the winter because the car wouldn't fully warm up. Amazing stuff IMO. I know some people dont like it, but it's always been really good for me.

Thats really weird, I only see those temps in stop and go traffic on a hot summer day. Nothing to be all that concerned about though. Most synthetic oil start breakinng down at 450*F. Royal Purple doesn't break down till ~500*F

Good luck!!
