This is why it is so necessary to carry a little tool kit in your trunk, This has happened to me, you, and probably about 1000 other board members.

Its the worst when you cant fix it on the side of the road, I limped two miles to a mechanic once.

I picked up a wide variety of T-Clamps for around 45$ of of www.siliconeintakes.com

I never had a problem blowing IC pipes off but I did blow off the BOV once!

Only 28lbs! Yeah that's a fair few over stock
Upgraded hose clamps should fix this prob... check the coupling too.

What makes those constant torque clamps better than T-bolt clamps?

Do yourself a favor. Get the Samco IC coupler kit, get an aftermarket LICP(I recommend ETS) and then go to summitracing online and order yourself some T-Bolt clamps and your set.

Good luck with that. I recommend summit becasue they have good quality t-bolt clamps and a great price.

You think that's scary, the first time it happened to me was on a race track with a GT3 on my ***.....boom, dead car accelerating right before a turn.

Not fun......
