+1 your problem more than likely lies in loose piping/broken/loose/ripped vacuum hoses.

if it continues, call CBRD and play 20 questions... i remember seeing you saying they built your new ride.

good luck.

Must be an air leak somewhere past the maf. Spray some water and watch for bubbles...

So far no luck on finding anything loose or cut hoses. I am beginning to think it could be elevation and the tune for 93 octane since there is only 91 out here. Could that be cause the rough idle and strong jerk under high boost?

it could be pulling timing... but when we talked i said DO NOT BOOST IT on 91... turn the boost down... you were tuned for 93

but still sounds like a leak.

another suggestion, if your car is barely idling, you know something is wrong with it, NEVER boost it. your just asking for very expensive repairs.

what altitude are you at? if you are tuned for 93 octane why are you still boosting 20+ lbs on 91 octane? altitude makes a huge difference. i'm guessing you may be at a fairly high altitude. the fluttering you are hearing is most likely the wastegate trying to control the turbo which is trying to overspeed due to thinner air.

yeah about 5k ft higher than the norm. I had it tweaked and fixed for altitude and octane. Running good again though, I checked everywhere for leaks before hand and found nothing, but all is fixed for now. Thanks for all the input and suggestions.

yeah,

you had called and caleb said at the least turn the boost way down... then you said it was hesitating at high boost on 91...

our tune was for 93, we went over that....

regardless.... hope all is well now.....

cheers

I did turn the boost down, ran into issues here in AZ with the hills, i could not get up without getting to about 10psi thats when the problems would occur. Its all good for now just gonna have to get retuned when i make it back to the east coast.

EDIT: The high boost was the first time the problem occured, i did not keep hitting 20psi after the intitial problem.
