Power for Wideband

I took out the MR triple gauges in my car and I am wiring in a set of 3 gauges in its place.

I plan on using the same sources for power, and ground.

I am installing:

1 - An autometer voltage gauge (just like stock)
2 - An autometer oil temperature gauge (just like stock)
3 - An autometer wideband

The wideband has a heater (like they all do) and I was wondering if you think its safe to run that off of the same power line (red wire) - My fear is that i will blow a fuse because the heater draws too much power?

I hope you are kidding, this is horrible advice and a good way to cause an electrical fire with high gauge wiring if you really don't know what you are doing.

In addition, I run my ZT2 WB off my MR guage source.

Yeah, I just hooked them to the red wires in the spot where I de-wired my MR gauges (which are now for sale hint hint) - Drove 500 miles with it this way the other day and no problemo.

I noticed that when I am cruising and then I get off the gas to just drift to a slower speed she goes way lean (16) I am assuming this is just because the engine is basically idling down and dosent use much fuel right?

Yea of course the wideband will go full lean when off the gas untill it gets back down to idle

As you decel in gear the ECU goes into fuel cut and the a lean condition will occur.
If you search there is an entire thread discussing this. 100% normal, usually ppl who have never used a wideband start to worry when they see this.

Oh I know that just because I put in a new gauge doesn't mean my car is running wrong, I was just looking for more of the reason of what is going on.

It does jump around a bit though, typically between 14.0 and 15.5

I was surprised about that.
