Today im going to put a Garrett 3071 BB Turbo kit into a stock 2003 evo 8 engine
no cams, no stroker kit.. will my engine last

 

Of course. The 3071 isn't THAT much larger than stock. You're fine.

EDIT: Ok Street use, so as long as your not a nut case on the road, I can't see why the engine wouldnt last as long as a un modified motor.

Premium fuel, good tune, moderate boost levels, should be fine. Im looking at a similar sized turbo myself, let us know how this works out on stock head.

I dyno'ed 382 on straight 93 pump gas on a fp 3071 with thier cams.
This was on TTP Engineering MD dyno.

The turbo is close to a green size and will be fine with the stock motor once tuned.
