flywheel

so imma be changing out my stock clutch since its slipping on me at 43xxx miles.. which is really good i figured.. im most likely going for the act hdss clutch and been wondering if i should change out the flywheel also or just have the stocker resurfaced, which is what i was planning on doing.. id i was to change out the flywheel, what would be a good brand to go with.. and the main question is, what are the actual benefits of changing to a lighter flywheel? thanks

im no expert on this subject however since nobody has helped u yet i will try.

i am on an act with a lightweight flywheel. they say with a lighter flywheel its easier for ur engine to turn so ur rpm's go up quicker. however if u go to light then u loose the wieght that helps turn the flywheel and keep it rotating easily.

^ don't quote me on that. im just tryin to simplify it.

id say go with the act and a new flywheel since that is what i did and i have had no problems with the setup
