sorry for the newb question but i have never heard of the synapse....do you have any information on what spring i should use. i have been reading and I was thinking of using the mid/yellow spring but use the two shims provided by forge. I reallydont want to go to the stiffest spring.

thanks in advance for the help

The Synapse has adjustable preload on the spring so I am not sure what the spring color would relate to how I have mine setup. I do have mine set up more on the soft side. The stock turbo spools up pretty quickly for the airflow it is capable of so it is a little difficult to deal with. I ran the IX MR DV for a little while but then went back to the stock plastic one until my Synapse got here. As stated earlier you can run the stock one (plastic) at lower boost pressures up to about 22 psi but then you start running into issues with cracking, and leaking.
