Quick EVO Ballast Question
I have an evo 8 with HIDS from factory and the driverside ballast went out, are both the driver side and passenger side ballast interchangable??? Are they the same ballast in everyway?

i checked and the connector part of the ballast is different, i cant seem to get the plug to fit...???

They are definitely the same. I just changed my passenger side unit and swapped side to side to verify the ballast was the problem.

Are you the original owner? Maybe a previous owner replaced one?

If you take a picture of these connectors and post them up, someone might be able to confirm.

I thought my ballast went out also because one of my headlights started turning a purple color then started flickering and would turn off. But it was just the bulb.
