well, Geico was the first company I shopped.

I'll sure shop around some more and try to get a better rate.

Thats true that where you live, ago and many other factors will influence your rates....

so for you 30+ year old married folks with a house, wife, 3 cars and kids, please dont rub the salt into my wounds...

:-P

Ugh I paid $1850 a year from Geico for my 91 Ford Escort GT!

I'm 19, never had an accident or ticket or even been pulled over, its ridiculous =( It used to be $150 and just went up to $185 for no reason. I'm thinking of getting an Evo now that my car broke down and I need something now, I fear my insurance costs will be out of the roof.

I am insured for $900 every 6 months. Full coverage with umbrella from allstate which. Umbrella is one million dollars accidental insurance.

Or was it $950? I forgot. Surprisingly, it's cheaper than my 2000 RX300

I am with state farm as well and that is almost exactly what I pay. I think it may be the lowest out of anyone.

I'm 30, clean record and car is registered in Long Island, NY. Geico is taking around $550 for 6 months, they listed the car as Lancer ES with the wrong VIN#, called and gave them the right VIN#...they ask if I have ABS, and that gave me an additional discount (forgot how much exactly).

that quote is about right for the city....... compare it to brooklyn and you will see the difference.... I think northern jersey has higher quotes than in the city........... thanks to all the crooks and car jackers in Newark and the surrounding areas.....

I have State Farm, full coverage. I have a multi car discount (of course, haha) and a clean record. The insurance on our EVO is only $680 per year.
