Thanks for the great replys. i have found a few non salvaged for 15k to 17k but with like 70-80k miles. I'm not looking to get a evo with that many miles. I think i can take it to the dealer and have them look it over and get the title turned to a rebuild one. i think the car will be turned into a track car one day. I live about 15mins from a nice race track ( spring mountain). Have you guys looked for any evos for sale? The price's are crazy!

Whats cheap? I can get some info for a place in mississippi, but you have to pick it up and it wouldn't be fixed. I got my street bike from them and they gave me a great deal. I don't think he has any evo's but if you let him know you want one he can find it. let me know if you want it.

You do knwo that insuraces salvage the evo real quick cause there SOOOO expensive to fix. Look at one headlight its cost 1500 dollars so if u get in a front clip accident thats 3 grand for only headlights. Insurance ppl will always go for salvage . I think buying a salvage car and if you knwo ALL ITS PROBLEMS IS NOT A BAD THING. You can also find some very very low mileage ones.

Don't buy a salvaged car unless its won't be driven on the street. Salvaged cars make great track cars (if the frame is straight) though. If you can't afford an Evo then don't buy one, there are plenty of other types of cars out there that are more affordable.

salvage all the way, i got my for $15,000 with only 9000miles and SSL when i got the car it was only 2 year old and the KBB on the car was 29,000 and i paid $15,000. Salvage it not always bad if you hit something else then a car and never report to the insurance your car is not salvage but you can have **** amount of damage to it that you fixed yours self or even body shop but you paid for it no one will know it was ever hit and you can sell it with clean title for full price with lol body or frame damage. My point is that if you fix the car the right was even frame damage it will ride same as new.

I got my evo for a good deal and it is salvage, no problems at all. I know which one you are talking about for 15,700 its red right? I almost got that one instead of mine but I wanted blue, and I talked to the guy with the red one on the phone and he seems very honest and was willing to tell me everything. I say go for it.
