I spoke to the guy who previously owned the one with 48k miles and he said it needs a new clutch. That will be one point I'll make is that if they are trying to sell me a car with a slipping clutch, the price should reflect it. I agree, I think they're both a little high. If you paid $1150 over your z, then I should not be paying 3500 over an sti! I might just end up keeping the suby if I can't work em down anymore.

 

Get an SE or any five speed Evo VIII or IX, and if you can find an RS go for it.

 

No, they gave me $1150 over payoff on my z. Keeping you STI sounds like a good idea to me. You have a great car. I wouldn't get raped just to have a evo when I have somthing that is almost as fun to have as one.

Keep looking, I had to drive two states away to get mine.

 

Hey, I just saw some pics of your STI. There is know way that I would let some dealer screw me on a ride that nice! I would keep that for sure, at least until the right deal comes along. Anyway good luck and nice STI!
