See anything wrong here?

Ad is saying that there is an Evo MR for sale on a local website. Notice a few things in this picture that say otherwise?

Someone might have switched the shift knob and the seats. If you think otherwise, someone could sell the MR seats for a GSR seats and a pretty penny.

No way to tell unless you run the VIN etched on the front window of the car itself.

That doesn't matter, the color is the dead giveaway.

I was under the impression that the badging should be under the shifter and that entire console should be more compact due to the six speed as well.

Correct.

The MR badge should be under the shift aperture, that's definitely a 5-speed, and MR's don't come in blue.

the mr badge should be behind the shift knob not infront
and the fact that the car is blue
they dont make blue in the MR edition
also there doesn't seem to be the little switch to adjust the headlight height

alot of dealers have no idea what they are talking about
i experienced alot of dumb people during my evo search

This guy owns the car (private sale), straight up fraudulent. Is this going on quite a bit with sellers hoping the buyers know jack about evo's?

Seems like it's missing the foglight button and the automatic headlight leveling adjuster as well.

usually people are pretty honest about it
but with being able to pick up a few more bills because its an MR you never know what people would do
hoping someone has no idea and would just buy it
