Wow! It's an Evo with a built motor, sub-par suspension, and he wants $50K?
Lemme guess... no takers?

I think they're refering to the fact that the car is blue... not just the seats. I like the close up pic of his blow-off valve!

There is so much done to that car its hard to tell if it was an MR or not, he could have gotten it repainted to blue. Also, the VIII MRs only came with black Vortex Generators.

I got my evo from the downtown ken garff. They sold it to me as just an 06 mr but it was acutally a 06 mr se . I didn't even realize it until I bought some gauges from guy around here, he mention somethin about my red stitched seats and my wheels being diamond black finish. The only thing I new was that I had the se lip. I had red the differences in the regular mr and the se, but for some reason it never clicked in my head that I did in fact have and mr se model.

Annoyed

Oooookkkkkk guys, here is a stock VIII MR. Notice the Blue seats, silver steering wheel, silver pedals, center console MR Badge, and the black VT Generator:

Complete set of pics:

He has the Black VT Generator, the MR gauge pod, VIII MR silver pedals (which are impossible to find), and the MR Badge + Console sticker. My Vote is that its an VIII MR with a 5 speed conversion (b/c of the mods he has) and a EB paint job. Anyone care to get the VIN from him and verify?

I'd say the chances of it being an MR with a custom paint job are slim to none. Whoever is selling this decided to spend a few bucks on some MR decals to try to cheat someone out of a few thousand dollars. The center console badge is not in the right location (fake). I have the "MR" gauges in my 03, that doesn't make it an MR. And as far as the silver pedals being impossible to find, having the dealer install them when you purchase the car seems pretty easy to me. Plus, if this really is an MR then the person selling it put a lot of money into making it look like a GSR.
