No way to tell unless you run the VIN etched on the front window of the car itself.
Also run the inside of the door jams...

def not an MR
simple as that

and the blue seats mean nothing because all the 03 - 05 came with the blue seats whether it was MR, RS, or GSR
i have an 05 MR and my seats are blue
the 06s changed the seats on all models

I'm sure he has had the badging on from before, but man it is cool enough to have an Evo why put the stickers on. Every one who knows anything about Evo's will just think you are a moron!

I see you are in SLC and your names says "soon to be Evo" be very cautious of the evo's around there. I lived down there when I bought mine and it was terriable. I think having Miller right near there really is a big reason why so many of them are just thrashed. Avoid the mitsu dealer downtown SLC (the name escapes me) but I went to test drive a car stating it was a stock IX rs and it was a thrashed evo ix with a blown transfer case and the front door fell off when I opened it! They where quick to say that they would cover everything under warranty. I however just walked away. Good luck

hahahahah! I know exactly who you are talking about. Back in 04 when I had to sell my first Evo I went in there to ask about a trade in, I had got a few bids from some dealers and had the worn clutch that I replaced. I went there and they told me that they heard I had a clutch problem and offered me $17,500 for an 03 with 20K miles after I put in a brand new ACT clutch.

Thanks for the look out but I am actually flying to California to pick one up at a reputable dealer in two weeks.
