I found out from Induktion motorsports where my friend is sponcerd with his VW. they informed him today and i called a close friend who works at extremes and he confirmed it that they did burn to the ground.

wow, i would find it hard to swallow that Sean would do that to a place he has built of nearly two decades.

I hope everyone is ok and can recover from this.

I thought of that too haha.

He's probably a suspect as well.

Just be glad your car wasn't in the shop when it happened

Yes, someone broke in and destroyed pretty much everything. the shop is still standing but there is a lot of smoke and water damage(30000 gallaons over 6 hours) They lit a car on fire and then tried to spread it by pouring motor oil over everything (thank god criminals are dumb). We do have suspicions as to who did it, AA county police has been there and has an investigation going on into the whole thing. I can gurantee everyone this is NOT an insurance job, anyone dumbenough to think that Sean would do this is as stupid as the people that tried to burn the place down. We're doing just fine as far as business goes, in fact we were booked about 4 to 5 weeks out. Most stuff is a total loss and but some things will be salvaged only the one car was damaged beyond repair. Our dyno is also under 6 feet of black water at this moment. There's other things I cant really talk about over the net but if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me. We will be reopening I guarentee that.

well think it prolly has to do with the one car thats been there for over a year and is owed 20k thats what i would guess... i mean if a shop had my car for a year and owed me like 20-30k i might think about doing something like that too..
just my thoughts

i remember reading about that a few weeks ago..

We didn't owe him anything he owed us money for what we did to his car. You dont pay your bill you don't get your car back ask any shop. Unfortunately consumer protection laws outweigh those that protect the businesses that provide them, and he was given his car back and had to pay nothing.
