Most likely a vacuum leak going to the gauge or a poor tap but if fixing that doesn't work the easiest test would be to borrow a friends boost gauge and go for a quick spin, that will let you know one time. You would most likely feel if you were 7psi off.

well i wont know til saturday the real cause. today im gonna check for boost leaks but i really have a feeling its the gauge. Im still able to pull off 6 second 0-60 pulls without a launch so i doubt i could be 7 psi off boost. Well see i will keep you updated on saturday

One of my friends had the exact same problem, turned out he had a small boost leak that made him run rich, then clogged his cat converter, and that is why he drove his car for weeks not knowing why he was only boosting 10 psi, just my .02

I had a leak in the boost gauge vaccum line and the gauge read 12-13psi. Check your vaccum lines to the gauge it's self. Does the car feel any different?
