Ok, I have received and installed my overlays from trustz, and they are awesome. Only problem is I want them to light up differently. I wired them to the white harness with the striped yellow and red wire. This means the overalys are on as long as the key is in. I thought that was what I wanted, but it turns out it isnt. I would like the overlays to be on when I turn the headlights or parking lights on. Is that the gray wire on the blue harness that trustz refers to in his instructions? Also, will that mean that the factory brightness adjuster will adjust the overlays? thanks in advance.

Yes, to have the trustz on when parking light is on you tap red power wire to the gray wire on the blue harness. Thats how mine is setup. no you dont use the factory brightness adjuster, you now use the switch on the trustz to adjust brightness and color.

 

this is a dumb question but i have to ask, if they come on with the parking lights, they will also come on with headlights too right?

 

yup. the parking light has to come on before you can switch it to the headlight anyways.
