Installing a Seibon CF Lip (VR)

Hey guys, i just bought a Seibon VR Lip to replace my old apr lip but im having trouble understanding how it can be mounted properly and be sturdy. I see the tabs, but ive heard they are meant to be attatched to the plastic undertray, which is no longer in place. How has any1 whos attatched a lip similiar to the one in question installed it and had success? Even my auto-body guy, a knowledgeable professional, doesnt know. He cant see how it can be mounted sturdily.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Anythign at all

thanks guys
