How many ix's did Mitsu import to the US?

I have a ix mr se. I believe it to be rare, but I am wondering how rare. A long time ago I read an article that said exactly how many evo ixs were imported, and how many of them were MRs, but I cannot find the information any where any more. Does anyone know how many of each type of ix there are in teh US?

Not sure of the #'s but the IX MR SE is one of the most rare trims for sure.

MITSUBISHI imported 1,200 (2006) 9MR's, with an overall of 5,000-6,000 Evos in general...I could not tell you how many 9 SE-MR's though...Sorry!

Nit-picking, but there's technically no such thing as an MR SE. They're MRs with the "Appearance Package" option.

Have a look at the links above your post. There were 4176 IX MRs imported. It's the most common model designation.

Thanks my search terms didn't dig up that thread. I actually only have the SE front lip and seats, my cousin has a GG ix MR with SE seats lip and wheels.

I'd agree this is the rarest trim out of VIII's and IX and it's because hardly anyone is dumb enough to pay that much for something missing so much (Just Kidding). VIII MR's sold like hotcakes, Supposedly dealers were lucky if they got 2 VIII MR's. When they brought out the IX they made more MR's than anything else to cash in (smart). It was no longer a limited # of 1000 available like the VIII. But really does it matter? Think of it this way, how many evo's do you see out there? Not much. It's a rare machine no matter what.

I have a Tarmac Black Pearl MR SE and I adore it! Yeah our MR SE's are rare, but I also don't see much RS versions which seem to be very rare also. You're right, the MR SE is very rare....lucky me.

Well assuming 50% each color. 179 each color, and let me correct myself, 358 not 379.
