Re-Fuel

How often does everyone here needs gas? When I used my EVO as a daily driver last year, I drive about 100 miles a day almost all on the FWY. That required me to get gas like every other day or on the third day. I'm a creature of habbit, so I always try to get gas at the same place.

My car gives me nearly about 270-280 miles for a full tank. Driving below 3K RPM mixed with a few hard pulls. I just have an exhaust nothing much..

93 Octane. Any gas-station tat has it..

BS. Your evo doesn't get 38mpg. Period.

93!!????!!

The best we have in Commifornia is 91 with Ethanol blended in (bad for all).

I'm actually surprised I don't hear any audible knocking...

I used to fill my Evo up twice a week when I first got my Evo. Now, I'm a married man so I don't drive for pleasure as much as I used to. I now fill my Evo up once every week or even once every 2 weeks. And actually I get better gas mileage because of my tune and my exhaust I believe.

I also call bs on the 500 miles on a tank of gas. I usually get around 250 miles between fillups which I do once a week. This is on street roads and interstate.

I usually get 220-240 per tank i am sitting at about an 1/8 of a tank at 210 miles right now. i don't go past e a whole lot so i guess i aveage 18-20 mpg but it all sucks at $4 dollars a gallon .

i did go until i ran out of gas once (completely not on purpose) got 296 miles so it was just shy of 22 mpg for the tank. mods listed below.

I fill at a half tank and depending on how I am driving I get from 160 to 180 miles on that using 91 octane. I have a few times seen 190 miles on a half tank but only twice in the short time I have owned the Evo.

This is also with 90% rural driving sort of in between city and highway.

I get if im driving normal 300-330 miles to a tank. If I get on it at all Ill get less 250-280.

Tuning really helps with fuel economy
