People say that is changeing the intercooler and turbo to a smaller size. They say that if you were to get in a accident it would cost too much for insurance companys to pay for the intercooler and turbo so they say they will be making it smaller.

P.S. Has anyone called any dealerships in houston about any deposits or anything else about the lancer evo.

Who are these "people" telling you that? There are rumors the intercooler may be smaller but never a mention of turbo.

 

I heard that the Evo may come with curb feelers because the wheels and tires are expensive and people may scratch them when they park near a curb. The curb feelers are very expensive addition to the new EVO and people are saying that it is certain to push the price of the EVO over $30K

Good news though, I understand you can get the curb feelers in gold to match the gold emblem package (bling bling).

 

what the hell is a curb feeler?

 

its those ugly springs that you see stickout out of the wheel wells of some old lincolns and caddies. they alert you when you're like 2-3 inches from a curb.. they look like theyre falling out of the car or something.

 

OMG THAT IS BULL****, why do people have driving tests before giving out licenses, TO TEST THEIR SKILLS, IF THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO GET THEIR LICENSES THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH NOT TO SCRAPE A CURB

 

That'd be stupid to put feelers on the Evo, i don't give a crap if they come with smaller intercoolers or if they even put side mounted ones, as long as it has the same size turbo. You can always buy a FMIC and replace it.
