04 Cadillac CTS-V or 03 Evo VIII

I just wanted to get some opinions on which vehicle you would prefer. I did a search on this site and didn't see any information about this topic so, i thought what the heck. I went and looked at the CTS-V last night and thought, damn that thing is sweet. Don't get me wrong, i love my Evo but the Cady is pretty cool. Any opinions?

They are entirely different animals. The CTS-V does have some nice power but its focus is comfort and amenities as opposed to the Evo's focus of performance.

That cts v is sweet but I swear the interior is worse than the evo! The new cts v is going to be NUTS!

You live in MN! CTS-V is RWD right? There's your answer right there. AWD FTW! Evo can be WAY faster with a few mods anyways, skip the caddy. Come for a ride in my car if you want to know why

The caddy is RWD and that would suck for the Minnesota winters. I just get caught up in all the luxories of the caddy.

I wouldn't mind taking you up on your offer scheides. I am in Eden Prairie.

I test drove the Caddy last night, and it was AWESOME! I am really falling for this machine. They are letting me take for half the day today. I can't wait to get some real seat time in it and figure out if this is something that i want. The torque is great and the V8 sounds amazing. I just don't know if I can let my Evo go.

Two different animals, but i've heard of alot of reliability issues with the CTS-V (do some research on that if you havent already). Its nice to have a torquey V8, but are you going to be ok with getting smoked by Evo's and STI's? Not to mention that you are going to really only be able to enjoy it 6 months out of the year do to the snow. I say keep the Evo and mod it so its faster than the CTS-V - not that hard to do. Year 'round enjoyment and speed.

Obviously you've never owned a RWD car in winter. The fun is not over in the winter months, just turn off the trac control and you'll get around town faster than most. I had a 240sx and I could get around town more easily than ppl with fwd.
