Dude, no offense, but you're talking about a 170hp car with even less torque and skinny tires. This is a heavy-azz car with boat-loads of torque and wide tires...that is NOT a winning recipe for getting around in the winter. I have never owned a RWD car, but I have two friends that have owned, ironically, equivalent vehicles.

My one buddy owned an '06 GTO with the 400hp/lbft tq LS2 and said that it was undriveable in the winter. I believe him because soon after he sold it a mechanic bought it. The mechanic ended up killing himself on a snow-covered road in that exact car 2 months later. My other buddy has a 240sx with a cat-back exhaust and intake. He loves driving in the winter because he can "drift". He has also noted that at highway speeds he does at times "fear for his life". Yes, it is possible to get around, but most people are not willing to take that chance. An Evo wins hands down over a CTS-V in the winter.

One other thing...we both live in Pittsburgh. Do you realize how mild our winters are compared to Minnesota? There were only like 3 or 4 days out of 6 months that we had to drive in heavy snow. This guy would be freakin' screwed with a CTS-V in a Minnesota winter.
