ZR1 Powered CTS-V

I always liked the CTS-V new and old but damn, is this really needed? 0-60 in 3.1 sec

Power, luxury, and practicality. Yes, I'd say it's necessary.

Sick! I would daily drive it, and pick up the kids from school, and race it on the weekends. I wonder the dependability factor with 800hp.

Please don't take me the wrong way but I must make a clarification. The cadillac CTS-v and the ZR1 share many componenents but they are not the same exact engine. Yes they are both made of the LS9 but small things like compression ratio(9.0 on the Cadillac and 9.1 on the ZR1) or supercharger internal capacity 1,900 cc supercharger on the Cadillac and 2300cc on the ZR1.
Transmissions are different as well, the ZR1 only mounts the TR6060 can have a auto or a TR6060 with different specs.

The 650 hp mark is very easily achieveable on the Cadillac, a set of headers, air filter and tune can net you close to 60-70hp, add a pulley and you are talking 100hp extra(with previous mods).

The car is still very heavy but it can move those two tons faster than any other sedan in the world as proved on Nurburgring.

sweet ride, the 6spd sounds killer but the auto is faster and better if you are a drag racer

Dont get me wrong i'm amazed at what they can do with it and i know the car performs well in stock form but I guess thats jus too much power for me. Although I wouldn't mind getting the V650 package. The V700.......nah i think i want to keep my organs in place.
