Anyone with Cruise Control installed on their Evo?

Just wondering if anyone had installed one on their Evo and if it's hard to do it/ cost wise/ if it was worth the hassle...

According to a fellow member on this site, he stated the install was not really that difficult. It is one amenity that might prove beneficial obviously if you travel frequently. Isn't there another kit other than what Lancershop offers?

Sure why not? Not around town obviously, but I've driven mine 590 miles one way I would have paid a lot of money for a cruise control at that point.

Installing cruise control has always been on the back of my mind, that is one of the few things I really wish this car had. I seem to do a lot of long distance highway driving and it would be really nice since my ankle (hurt it pretty bad a few times in the past) gets pretty sore.

I'd like to hear from soneone as well if they have cruise. I've been thinking about putting it on. I commute 120 miles when I meet with my client, about 50 of that is freeway.

I have heard that it isn't dead accurate from other posters. That it doesn't have instant response. I suppose if you're using it for it's true purpose it wouldn't matter... setting it and going.

I have not installed it yet, but I got it from
http://www.mnrelectronics.com/
I called them and they got me a proper adapter block to hook up to the evo throttle line rather than the split copper bolt hack from the how to section either here or socalevo

I travel a lot, so I'll be getting one soon.

There's nothing wrong with putting cruise control on your car. Its not going to de-value your car or de-"man" the Evo.
