Well, I looped the other hose into the head and filled up with water. The engine started easy, on all 4 cylinders, without any excessive noise, and I drove home (20 km) without ANY issues (overheating, leaks, etc.)

New hose installed and new coolant and all is dandy.

My question after this incident : Can you really kill a 4G63 ?

I can post photos of the hose if you are interested.

Have a nice day, and enjoy the show.
Oh man. Post up pics of the mess.

Sorry to hear you're putting it up for the winter. It would have been sweet to see the EVO do some Frozen Lake racing.

Hi.

Not at all, but I would like InvoiceEvo (previous owner) to list as I don't know all he put into it.

The head and block is stock

And there's a big fu***** turbo in there who rarely makes any power until 5000 o'clock, but right then - WHAMMO !

Car sounds beastly loud...Love it. About as good a vid as I've seen on this site of someone using their Evo for the pure rediculous enjoyment it gives back to you. Keep rocking it out, and next time, get some in-car.

Hi.

Yes, that used to be my GT-R. I sold it, but still I have 2 more 323 GT-R in the garage. One is with a rollcage, 2,0 litre and upgraded gearbox (straight cut gears 1-4 ). I am planning to get it running this winter to use in the ice.

The GT-R is not Evo, but they are really good value for money, and quite small and easy to handle. Tuning is easy, and most of the car is setup for about 280 hp. Stock power is 185 Hp. Stock turbo is IHI VJ23 with ceramic ball bearings. VERY trick for 1992 (releasedate for 323 GT-R).

But in the summer the Evo is the KING !
