I have a pair of VII Tail lights that are having a strange problem. The center bulbs (taillight only) heat is causing the circular lens to deform. It's starting to look like a Pringle Potato chip on one side. The taillight on the other side is in the early stages of doing the same thing. I checked the bulbs, and they are the correct wattage.

I purchased the set from a member who claims to have bought them from a reputable company that uses this site. I called the company with the name of the purchaser, and they confirmed that he bought the set.

Does anyone know if this is the original Mitsu Tail Light vendor?

I tend to think these are the real thing. If that is the case I don't understand why this would be happening...

 

yes...got an evo 9 and i just went out to the garage and checked..it says stanley on it

 

Thats odd, I wanted to do that with mine..is there any issue with the light brackets?
