So I got my birthday present early from my wife No not what you are thinking either, I get that even when it is not my birthday

I have to say she rocks. She got me exactly what I was wanting to get but did not realize she was getting it for me. Anyway she got me the Injen intake with both the upper and lower IC pipes. Got it installed today as well, now I just have to get a tune.

I was really excited because this is my first mod on my Evo that is performance based. I most recently made my own pedal covers because those that were on the Evo when I got it were looking like garbage.

I would post pics but both cameras seem to be dead at the moment. Anyway I just wanted everyone to know how awesome my wife is that she cares about what I want for my Evo. She had to give it to me early because she wanted to make sure everything was in the box, since it looked sort of beaten up and one side seemed to be partly open.

I’ll try to post some pics in a day or so if I can get a chance (school, work, family). Though I would think there have been plenty of pics of the Injen intake and piping on the board by now.

Sorry it took so long to get the pics posted they are nothing special just of the intake.

I would show the Evo but it is dirty at the moment. I share a rural road with a lot of traffic and heavy equipment making a clean Evo nearly impossible. I honestly think insects just love hanging out near the road so they can get smeared all over my car and that they have some sort of dust magnet imbedded in them.

Any way here are the two pics I took. I know the engine bay is dirty I will get to that on my next weekend off.

LOL actually considering the poll results I have just recently seen I could brag about that. The poll seemed to think that 33% of married couples only have sex once a month. It also said 41% of men do not have sex often because their wife lacks interest. Either way I am glad I am not one of those people.

But no I was talking about something else that guys usually bring up when you say guess what my wife did lol.

Yeah I used the K&N recharge kit on my OZ’s injen intake. It came back nice a red after a good cleaning.

I am thinking of using the Amsoil cone filter though. I hear it filters out more of the dust than the oiled gauze filters.

any issue with the intake rubbing the hood when its closed? I have the same IC piping and intake and my intake is all bent out of shape. not sure if its just me...
